Parent/Caregiver Training

Parent/Caregiver training is an essential part of any communication intervention plan.

Formal training may include:

• Family Sign Class
• Play and Learn Language Group
• Articulation/Home-programming training
• Hanen® Programs such as:
  • It Take's Two To Talk - The Hanen® Program for Parents
  • Target Word – The Hanen® Program for Parents of Children Who Are Late Talkers
  • More Than Words – The Hanen® Program for Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Learning Language and Loving It - The Hanen® Program for Early Childhood Educators/Teachers"

Less structured parent/caregiver training is typically incorporated into the assessment and therapy process.
